The Online School for Girls will begimn offering coursesthis September, including two this fall and four in the sprinfg 2010 semester spanning math, science and the humanities. Students at the membee schools will take the classea and evaluate them as apilot run. One initialp calculus class will be taugh by Harpeth Hall math teachereJennifer Webster. The other schoolsw in the group are thein Maryland, the in Ohio and in all with tuition rangin from about $20,000 to $40,000 per year. Ann the head of Harpeth Hall, says the goal of the onlinew school is to provide a rigorousz education in an online settingb thatis flexible, affordable and accessiblse to girls around the world.
She says the curriculumn will be expanded incoming years.
