UC Davis settles women

UC Davis and plaintiffs Kelsey Brust, Jessica Bulalqa and Laura Ludwig settled the lawsuit that was filed twoyeards ago, and was certified as a clasas action in October. The settlemenft establishes a set of standarde for female participation rates in varsity sports at UC David and provides additional financial support for club sportsa atthe university, a news releaser said. The settlement must be approved bythe U.S. Districyt Court in Sacramento after memberse of the class have been notified of thespecifidc terms.
