Civic ranked among top 10 cars for college students - Business First of Columbus:

The Richmond, Va.-based used-car retailer partnered with Las Vegas-based , a nonprofit drivers' education provider, to recommend the top 10 cars forcolleged students. The vehicles that made the list were gradef onsafety features, reliability and style, plus their National Highway Traffi c Safety Administration ratings - all receiverd at least four stars. The otherf nine cars that made the list were theAudi A4, Dodgde Caliber, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Pontiac G6, Toyota Corolla, Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen Passat and Volvo S40. The Hondqa Civic ranked in July asthe second-best seller in the Hondaa division of Torrance, Calif.
-based (NYSE:HMC), selling 27,852 vehicles, down 3 percent from July 2006. Year-to-datd sales of the Civic, however, are up at 201,652, a 4 percentg increase. Marysville-based runs five production and assemblyg plants inCentral Ohio, where the companyh turns out Honda Accord and Civic cars, Element and CR-V sport-utility vehicles, and Acurw TL sedans and RDX SUVs. CarMax (NYSE:KMX) runs 80 used-car outlets in 38 markets, with two locationsx in Ohio.
