Taking the helm is Matthew Nees, the founder and CEO of , a Beaverton-baseds marketing and communications firm, and president and founderd of Wintre’s Wishes Foundation, a nonprofirt focused on battling child sex abuse in Priorto that, Nees held various executiv e positions at Xerox, Hewlett-Packard and Intel. In recenft months, the SAO has been working with the officeof Gov. Ted Kulongoski to identifg projects that could be eligible for federal stimulus among other public outreach Scott Kveton, the interim SAO president and a board member, said Nees’s background working for both established tech companiews as well as start-ups will prove invaluable in workingy with Oregon’s tech community, which includes a balancwe of start-ups and corporate behemoths.
